Thank you, these assets were truly a life saver for me! It's so so cute!

I used them to make a small game: kamogumin

(+1)

Hey Gustavo, thank you for this nice Asset, i am currently learning an Engine and i love making Games but i am bad at making assets. I see this asset and i will use it to make a small Game where i can learn more about Game Dev, i will keep you up to date but firstly i will build a basic foundation :D

(+1)

Hi there, Littleclone! It is so nice to hear that :) I'm sure you'll make quick work of learning how to use that new Engine! Having people using all the assets I've made to learn game development makes it all come full circle because that is what I did back in the days, haha

(+1)

Thats really a Circle, but yeah, i have fun with the Engine (but i made the last 2 days a break for privat reasons) but now i am working on it, here a screenshot from a test map (i try right now to make a movement system)

(+2)

Hello, I'm using these assets to create a game! I'll send you the link once the game is finished! Thank you for the awesome assets!

I created this account to leave a comment :)

(+1)

That is amazing to hear!
What are you plans for the gameplay?
Also, do you have some sort of dev log, writen or in video format? Because I would love to keep track of the progress!

Have a good one!! :)

(+2)

"Please do not redistribute this asset" Can it be redistributed in commercial game?

Yes! :) As long as it is transformative (games, assets reworked and all of that) it is all good.

Please let me know about the game! I always love to keep track of the amazing projects people make with the assets.

Happy development :D

Hey, love the asset pack! I'm making a chess game with it! I've thrown a few quid your way and when the game is out I'll be sure to add you in the credits. For the meantime, here's a GIF & a link to the steam page if you're interested:

Hey there! Thank you so much for the donation, I really apreciate it. But most importantly, thanks for leting me know about this project!!

I just wishlisted it! It is always amazing to see those sprites in use and you made such good use of them. I love how you have reworked some of them and created whole new characters!

The whole game looks really good and well made. I wish you well and all the luck with game! I'm keen on giving the game a try! :D

Thank you for providing this awesome tileset. Are there some instructions on how to get those into Tiled (the tilemap editor program)? I have a hard time finding the right settings. Either the tile aspect ratio does not match or the tiles have an offset. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

(1 edit)

Hello there! Thanks for the kind words :)

As for instructions to use it in Tiled, I'm sorry to say but I don't think I'm able to help with that :( I've only used them in Unity, and even that has been quite some time ago... I'm sorry mate, I hope you can find a way to put it to good use!

Thank you for the reply an no worries. If I can figure it out, I will post it here.

Helo there!

It does have Iddle animations. Iddle and attack animations have 2 frames each. The first two frames from each row in the entities files are the frames for the iddle animation, wich is basically the character going up and down.

See the left half of the fourth image from the assets page:

Hope I was able to clear things. Have a nice one!!

I credited you on the game page.

DUDE, that looks soooo good! Thank you so much for letting me know. I'll be playing it for sure!! :D

Thanks to your reply, I made a lot of bad pixel art sprites to complement the history. Sorry for that ;)..

Thanks, really happy to hear that!!

About the palette, can't tell you for sure... I could try and extract the palette from the files, but I'm sure it was a derivative of a basic palette I found online .

Looks like the palette you used was a variation of zughy-32! I recognize some of the colors there:

nice working!

(+1)

This is some pro stuff. Good job!

Thanks!! This pack was quite challenging, so it really means a lot to hear that :)

(+1)

Hey Gustavo, I really like the style you used for this asset pack! We are creating a simulation game and I would love to talk to you regarding a cooperation possibilities. Would you be open for some private conversation? Maybe on Discord? You can contact me as ohin#2670.

Hey!! Thanks :)

I'm down for some chatting for sure, I would love to know what you guys are working on! I'll be adding you. And sorry for the delayed response btw...

(+1)

I'm trying to get the right size of each block but I have not managed to make it, is it 16x16?

Hey hey!!

The do have a non square size actually... They are 16x17 because the grass ones have some leaf blades going out of the block's top margin.

(+1)

These are really snappy! Great aesthetic!

Thank you!! It was so cool to work on these and the response has been amazing.

Rn I'm in the middle of an artistic block for the next pack, but I'm sure I'll get over it soon!! :d

(+2)

While I don't have any use for these assets. I just wanted to say they look fantastic. The outlines on the characters give it a cool, paper cut-out look. I've never worked with Isometric maps before, so maybe I'll give it a go one day.

(+1)

Hey, I'm really grateful for you taking the time to reach out and write this kind words!! It means a lot to me that you liked something I made :D

And I'm pretty sure your skills and dedication will get you to do something trully amazing with isometric perspective!!

(+2)

So I actually ended up using this in a jam game this month. Isometric was a headache and I only had a week so it's super basic. But overall. Your stuff worked great. Thanks!

Wow!! It is amazing to hear that :D I'm glad the assets were put to got use and I'm sure the game you made is awesome!

I'm currently not home, but I'll give it a try asap FOR SURE. Thanks for letting me know :)

(+1)

Fantastic resource, even better making it free. Big shout out to you

(+2)

Thanks!! It is really good to know ppl are enjoying this content :)

(+1)

OMG they look so awesome. Thanks for making them available like this.

No problemo!! I'm glad you liked it and I hope it is useful :D stay tuned for the next week pack!!

(+1)

i really enjoy this style, especially the characters. have you thought about maybe doing an extended character pack? im sure a lot of the minimalists around here would enjoy that!

Thanks!! I must admit the characters are probably my favorite part :D It would actually be quite fun to make an extension pack for the characters. Thank you for the idea!

I can't do it rn cuz I'm already working on the next week pack, but I'm sure I will get to do that in the future :)

(+1)

Beautiful work! Keep it up!

I'll sure do!!! Thanks for the kind words :)

(+1)

You are the chosen one ! =D

Thaaaanks!!! It is easy to keep giving my best when I have such good and supportive friends like you!

(+4)

Another gift from the pixel artist god <3

(+1)

This would never be possible without your artistic guidance! Thank you so much for enduring me asking for you critique and opinion all the time :D

(+3)

This is absolutely incredible! Love the paper-mario-like card style of the characters. Brilliant, man!
